For many people across the country, access to affordable housing remains out of reach. High housing costs create strains on the family budget and makes it difficult to afford necessities such as food, clothing and medical care.
To address this critical need locally, Habitat for Humanity of Benzie County is participating in “Home Is The Key”, a national campaign sponsored by Habitat for Humanity International. This special campaign is aimed at highlighting the need for affordable housing and raising funds to support local home building projects.
The Habitat for Humanity of Benzie County ReStore, located at 13998 US-31, just east of Honor, Michigan, will be participating in this fund raising effort during the month of April. Benzie area residents are encouraged to donate and shop the ReStore during the “Home Is The Key” campaign. The store will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30am to 5:30pm.
For more information contact William Merry, Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity of Benzie County at firstname.lastname@example.org. The ReStore can reached by calling 231-325-7750 or by emailing email@example.com.
