2024 Festival of Trees

 It’s time for the Festival of Trees! A great way to support Benzie County’s Habitat for Humanity.

The auction will be live on-line from November 29, 2024 (Friday) at 4 pm until December 1, 2024 (Sunday) at 3 pm.  

Items to be auctions are categorized into 6 categories.  Click the links below to view the items in each category.

Instructions for bidding:

• PRE-AUCTION
  • All items will be displayed at the Benzie Area Historical Museum & Outdoor Pavilion, 6941 Traverse Ave., Benzonia.  
  • The auction will be live on-line from November 24, 2023 (Friday) at 4 pm until November 26, 2023 (Sunday) at 3 pm.  
  • You can see the items at the Benzie Area Historical Museum on Friday from 4-6, Saturday from 12-6, and Sunday from 12-3.
  • Each auction item will have an associated item number. You will be able to find items in the virtual auction by using the item numbers.  Write down the item numbers for decorations that you’d like to bid on.
• AUCTION
  • Bid on an item by clicking or tapping on its picture.
  • Bidder information from previous years has been cleared.  You will need to re-establish your account to bid.
  • When you make a bid, the auction will ask you to register. This is important since we need to know who is bidding. Make note of your Login ID and Password since you will need your user name when you come to pick up your items.
  • After registering, you are required to re-enter your first bid.
  • A text message and an email will be sent to you confirming your bid.
  • If someone outbids you, you will get an alert in the form of a text message and an email.
  • One hour before the end of the auction, you will get a text and email alerting you that the auction will end soon.
• POST-AUCTION
  • You will get a text and an email for each item you win.  Follow the link to pay for your item online or bring a check, credit card, or cash to the Benzie Area Historical Museum between 4 pm and 6 pm on Sunday.
